Delayed Departure

Our July 10 departure has been delayed due to failed delivery promises by Jeff Cox at "Carl Cox RV Sales and Service" in Belleville. Our better C28 motorhome, which we picked up on July 3, was supposed to have everything checked and put in proper working order. I found two problems when we picked it up---they fixed one problem that same day, and the mechanic said a required generator part had been ordered that day or earlier, and it would probably arrive by July 9. It turns out that the part wasn't ordered until July 5, and it hasn't arrived yet! It is now expected to arrive tomorrow---probably! We found 4 other problems, which they fixed this week.

So we will have to postpone our visits to Sudbury and Thunder Bay until 2009?, and postpone our 5 days in the Dinosaur Camping Park near Drumheller until after Sara's and Gary's Wedding in BC on July 28. Our next planned event is to pick up Diana, Katie and Chris at the Calgary airport on July 25---so we do not want to miss that! As long as we "get to the wedding on time" and to the airport, I guess that a week or two delay in 2 years of travel isn't so bad.
